So I decided to write one, as an answer to my wife’s jibe at not writing but only criticizing. You can read her story here and also her taunts at the end of it. 😉 Read my take on the photo prompt, Fire!
On a cold winter night, they were arguing and fighting again.
“You do not have enough money to take care of your family”, said his wife. “What kind of husband and father are you?”, she questioned him. He knew what he had to do. But he also felt guilty of thinking that way. His brain told him that it was logical. Beneath, the heart fought to keep the emotions. He had to choose.
Listening to the argument, the mother spoke up, “I have called the cab. The ashram has a nice fire place in each room just like ours. Oh! don’t forget to increase the fire, its cold outside son. Keep your family warm.”
As she walked out of the house, the fire burning inside, the house thought “I can only keep their bodies warm, not their hard-cold heart!!”
Do comment in and let me know what you thought of it. Also read all the other #FridayFotoFiction.
